Wilma was born on October 9, 1931 in Ethel, Mississippi the daughter of James and Callie Myrtis Ballard Black. Nell was a very devoted and loving mother and friend to many. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Patterson. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two children, Sandra Percle and husband Randy of Berwick, Harlon Gale Fox and wife Gail of Thibodaux; seven grandchildren, Chad Fox and wife Alys of Gray, Jonathan Fox of New Orleans, Telesia Sobol and husband Matthew of Patterson, Hunnette Hastings and husband Robert of Morgan City, Pamela Conerly and husband Brandon of Berwick, Casey Percle of Morgan City, Lorren Hudson of Pennsylvania; eight great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents James Black and Callie Myrtis Ballard Black; her loving husband of 64 years Silas Fox; two grandsons, Rhett Fox and Cory Percle; two brother, Gerald Black and Tommy Black; one nephew David Black; one niece Debbie Black. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Nell will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the First Baptist Church of Patterson 1621 Main St. Patterson, LA 70392. ===================
