Chris enjoyed the outdoors fishing, hunting and spending time with his family along with being a NASCAR fan. Chris also loved passing a good time during Mardi Gras parades. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Forteza Gros of Morgan City; his mother Geneva Breaux Gros; four sons: Cory Gros and Fiance', Shannon Charlet of Bruly St. Martin, Cody Gros and Fiance', Elizabeth Charlet of Pierre Part, Cass Gros of Labadieville and Christopher Gros of Morgan City; four grandsons: Aydin, Cale, Hayden, and Peyton Gros; one sister, Monica Aucoin and husband, Julius of Pierre Part; one brother, Norris Gros Jr. of Pierre Part; his mother- n-law, Maria C. Forteza of Morgan City; his sister-n-law, Cecilia Forteza of Houma; two nephews: Steven Gros and Max McDowell along with three nieces: Erin Barbier, Elise Aucoin and Sara Gros. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Norris Gros Sr.; father-n-law, Roberto Forteza and his grandparents: Louis and Nelia Breaux, Charles and Bernadette Gros and Noe and Marie Cavalier. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 6pm until 9pm and resume on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 8am until 11am with the service beginning at 11am at the funeral home. Chris will be laid to rest in the Bruly St. Martin Chapel Cemetery. ===================
