(November 18, 1925 - October 18, 2012) Charles "Charlie" Landry Jr., 86, a resident of Bayou Vista passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at his home. Charlie was born on November 18, 1925 in Berwick the son of Charles Landry Sr. and Mary L. Angeron Landry. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Esperanza N. Landry of Bayou Vista; six children, Richard K. Landry of Morgan City, Barry S. Landry of Berwick, Charles Landry III of Bayou Vista, Carla A. Crawford of Glendale Arkansas, Angela M. Maurer and husband Charles, Christel L. Such and husband James of The Colony, Texas; nineteen grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren. He is also survived by five brothers, Perry Landry and wife Helen of Patterson, Jerry Landry and wife Evelyn of Morgan City, Merval Landry and wife Leona of Bayou Vista, Wade Landry of Bayou Vista, Mike Landry of Patterson; two sisters, Mary Grace Verrett and husband Marvin of Patterson, Alice Faye Person and husband J.W. of Deridder. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Landry Sr. and Grace Angeron Landry; two brothers Dudley Landry and Lewis Landry; two sisters, Judy Rhodes and Betty Buras. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment with Military Honors provided by the East St. Mary Veteran's Funeral Squad will take place after mass in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. ===================
