MADISE, JOSEPH PETER ‘MARK’ 

Joseph Peter “Mark” Madise, 55, a resident and native Morgan City, died 
Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10 p.m., at his residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 25, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9 
a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. 

Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.

JoPeter leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Olivia Thibodeaux Madise of 
Morgan City; two daughters, Neely S. Madise and Marley R. Madise, both of 
Morgan City; and his special daughter, Jaliyah Charles of Morgan City; one 
brother, Norbert Eugene Madise of Baldwin; six sisters, Carolyn Thomas, 
Florence Madise and Mrs. Ronald (Debra) Myers, all of Berwick, Mrs. Jerald 
(Mary) Watson of Morgan City, Mrs. Frank (Monica) Jones and Mrs. Lawrence 
(Ellen) Darnell, both of Patterson; one devoted granddaughter, Hailee Jo Madise 
of Morgan City; his mother-in-law; and a host of relatives and friends.

JoPeter was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law; a nephew; and 
a niece.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City/ Franklin/ Jeanerette is in charge of 
arrangements.
