MURRELL, WALTER, JR

Walter Murrell Jr., 64, a native of Beaufort, North Carolina and a resident of 
Morgan City, died Friday, October 19, 2012, at 4:56 a.m., at Terrebonne General 
Medical Center.

Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, Friday, October 26, 
from 10 a.m. until funeral at 1 p.m. 

Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Perry Smith and Terrance 
Barber, both of Morgan City; three daughters, Mrs. Demetrius (Lisa) Wilson and 
Sherrell Barber, both of Patterson, and Elizabeth Dorsey of Morgan City; one 
brother, James (Roberta) Murrell Sr., of Magnolia, New Jersey; two sisters, 
Arletha Richardson and Effa Murrell, both of Beaufort, North Carolina; seven 
grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, a brother and a 
sister.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City/ Franklin/ Jeanerette is in charge of 
arrangements.
