Ruby was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother to all her family. She truly made home a place to come home to. She loved to cook and make hot tamales for everyone. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Ruby was a very special woman. She will be sorely missed by her family. Ruby will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Wayne Babin and wife, Judy of Morgan City; four grandchildren: Pamela Miller and husband, Mark; Kristie McNemar and husband, John, Mary Babin and Ron Babin; five great grandchildren: Jacob Thibodeaux, John Ross McNemar, Zachary Miller, Drew Miller and Brody Babin; special nieces and nephews: Brenda Cloutier, Larry Bergeron, Roy Bergeron Jr. and Donna Sue Felton; former daughter-n-law, Kelly Babin Knight along with a host of nieces and nephews. Ruby was preceded by her husband, Joseph Babin; one son, Michael Babin; parents, Charlie and Hazel Polaski Brown; three brothers: Aaron, Andrew and Earl Brown and one sister, Alice Brown Comeaux. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church beginning at 8:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00am. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the mass. ===================
