All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= NOTE: If a Photo is available for an obituary record, a reference note will be included with the record. ======================================================================= BOBBITT, WILLIAM WINFERD Dec. 29, 1949 ~ Nov. 23, 2012 Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin for Mr. William Winferd Bobbitt, 62, a native of Newton, Texas and a resident of Jeanerette for the past eight years, who passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at his home with his family at his side. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. Pastor Blaise Smith will officiate the services. William was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his wife, Franny, family, and friends. Survivors include his wife of nine years, Franny Dautreuil Bobbitt of Jeanerette; two children, Rodney Bobbitt and his wife, Candy, of Baldwin, and Angela Marie Bobbitt and her fiancé, Barry Gary, of Berwick; three stepsons, David Munnerlyn Jr. and his wife, Nicole, of Lafayette, Mike Munnerlyn and his wife, Jackie, of Lafayette, and Jeremy Munnerlyn of Prairieville; four siblings, Avis Atkins of Vidor, Texas; Betty Lou Vilcan of Charenton; Johnny Bobbitt of Charenton; and Syble Concienne of Houma; and 15 grandchildren, Chelsea, Kylee Ann, Chase, Kylie Rae, Dustin, Austin, Brook, Kyle, Alyssa, Madison, Alix, Avery, Addison, Copeland and Aubrey. He was preceded in death by his parents, JB Bobbitt and Pearlie Mae Fullen Bobbitt; and one brother, Londell Bobbitt. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday at Ibert’s Mortuary from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Bobbitt, Dustin Dye, Austin Burgess, Stevie Vilcan, Jeremy Vilcan, Barry Gary, Ray Barrilleaux Sr., Derk Romero and Danny Boudoin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
