DEWEY, TASHIA R. 

Miss Tashia R. Dewey, 39, a resident and native of New Iberia, died Thursday, 
November 8, 2012, at 4:10 p.m., at Iberia Medical Center following a short 
illness.

She is survived by her father, Irvin Dewey Sr. of Patterson; one brother, 
Benjamin James Dewey of Charenton; and two sisters, Tamica Dewey of Baton Rouge 
and Mechelle Babino of Orange, Texas.

Miss Dewey was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.

Visitations will be observed Friday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at 
Magnolia Baptist Church in Bakertown.

Burial rites will be read Friday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with Pastor Keith 
Carter and Pastor Wilson Ferguson officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Charenton.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
