FONTENOT, RAY CHARLES 

Ray Charles Fontenot, 56, a resident and a native of Franklin, died Saturday, 
October 27, 2012 at 5:55 a.m., at Franklin Health Care Center.

Visitation was held Friday, November 2, at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 
9 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. 

Burial followed in the Lutheran Benevolent Cemetery in Franklin.

Ray leaves to cherish his memories, six brothers, James Fontenot of New Iberia, 
David Grimm, Clarence “Andrea” Grimm, Thomas Fontenot and Jerry “Allison” 
Fontenot, all of Franklin, and Claude Grimm of Houston, Texas; four sisters, 
Gloria Lofton, Ethel Tardy and Cindy Tardy, all of Franklin, and Debra Fontenot 
of Jeanerette; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Fontenot was preceded in death by his parents.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City/ Franklin/ Jeanerette is in charge of 
arrangements.
