Neda is survived by her son, Weston Guidry Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Berwick; her daughter, Melinda Fields and her husband, Glenn, of Patterson; two daughters-in-law, Sandra Landry and Brandie Renskowski; one sister, Catherine Saucier; one brother, William Written III; 10 grandchildren, Andrew, Weston III, Joanna, Holly, Brandon, Sasha, Tiffany, Lori, Sarah, and Gavin; 17 great grandchildren with Brenon, Bryson, Cameri, and Dreyden who often spent time with their beloved Mawmaw; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Darrin Guidry; her father, William Written II; her mother, Emily Dinger Written; one sister, Jo Ann Written Francis; and her brother-in-law, Nolan Saucier. Neda retired from her long term career driving in the Oilfield, with Arthur Levy/Nicor, which evolved into SeaCor, from where she eventually retired after 25+ years of serving her SeaCor family, which she dearly loved. Neda was known for her loving nature, taking everyone she met into her family, those included Brian, Rodney and Randy. Those who became part of her family eventually came to call Neda, mom, aunt, or Mawmaw. She was known for never having met a stranger, nor ever judging another. With her faith and God in heaven above, Neda has finally been reunited with her son, sister, and loved ones past. Neda will be missed by those who loved her and whose lives she touched. The family requests that visitation be observed Tuesday, November 6, 2012, from 9 a.m. until time of services at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. A service in memory of Neda will begin at 12 noon at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Graveside services will be held privately by the family at a later date. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Neda’s caregiver during her recent illness, Bridget Mayon. Only knowing each other a short while, Bridget was instantly drawn into Maw’s family warmth. Thank you for your care and tenderness. ===================
