Visitation will begin on Saturday, November 10, at 9 a.m. until service time with a recitation of the rosary at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum, New Iberia. A native of Franklin and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Landry passed away at her residence on Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 1:15 p.m. Mrs. Landry was a devout catholic and a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church. Mrs. Landry was a seamstress with Jeanerette Mills for over 20 years. In her retirement she enjoyed gardening, reading, walking in the park with her friends and spending time with her family. She was also a follower of Father Manny’s prayer group. She was proud of her Italian heritage and loved to cook, but none of this pale in comparison to the love she had for her faith and her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Richard Landry Jr. and wife, Carolyn, of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Alex and Elizabeth Landry of Baton Rouge; former husband, Richard Landry Sr. of Indian Bayou; and two sisters, Priscilla and Patricia Battaglia of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam J. and Mary Battaglia. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter St. (337) 369-6336 will be in charge of the arrangements. ===================
