Aug. 11, 1931 ~ Nov. 9, 2012 Funeral services were held Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 11 a.m., for Mr. Raymond C. Liner Sr., 81, a native of Houma and longtime resident of Franklin, who went home to his Lord on Friday, November 9, 2012, at 2:27 a.m., at the Franklin Foundation Hospital. Burial followed in the Franklin Cemetery. Mr. Raymond’s son, Pastor Robert Liner Sr., officiated the services. Mr. Liner enjoyed the outdoors, especially duck hunting. But his true love in life was his family and the word of God. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Myrna Hotard Liner of Franklin; 11 children, Judy L. Steedman and her husband, Ron, of Oklahoma; Raymond C. Liner Jr. and his wife, Charmaine, of Franklin; June L. Guthrie and her husband, Johnnie, of Franklin; Trudy Liner of Baton Rouge; Johanna L. Case and her husband, Brad, of Centerville; Darlene Liner of Maurice; Robert Liner Sr. and his wife, Toni, of Centerville; Paul Liner of Glencoe; Myrna L. LaCoste and her husband, John, of Franklin; Rebecca L. Daniels and her husband, Craig, of Glencoe; and Brent Liner of California; three brothers, Andrew, Roy and Jimmy; five sisters, Annie, Beverly, Wilda, Gladys and Ilene; 24 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, John Liner; his parents, Arthur and Liza Bloom Liner; five brothers, J.C., Golden, Collins, Carl and an infant brother; one sister, Beatrice; and two grandsons, Raymond C. Liner III and Donival Theriot Jr. A gathering of family and friends was held Saturday at Ibert’s Mortuary from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Serving as pallbearers were John LaCoste III, Jason W. Guthrie, Robert Exley Jr., Shane Theriot, Brennan Daniels and Paul Liner Jr. Honorary pallbearers were William Theriot III, Shane Theriot Jr., Jason R. Guthrie, Nicholas Theriot, Thomas Caprito, and Matthew Caprito. Arrangements were entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
