All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgenweb.org/volunteers/copyright.shtml ======================================================================= NOTE: If a Photo is available for an obituary record, a reference note will be included with the record. ======================================================================= PICARD, LILLIAN SAVOIE Feb. 19, 1919 ~ Oct. 30, 2012 A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, November 2, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary for Lillian Theresa Savoie Picard, 93, a native of Patoutville and longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Franklin. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Thomas Vu will officiate the services. Lillian was a loving wife mother, and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, quilting and playing bingo. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially by her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn P. Lovell and Ernestine “Tina” Picard and her husband, O.J. Cole; seven grandchildren, Wilson “Peanut” Ewing, Terry “Pete” Ewing, Rodney Ewing, Christine Tuttle, Harriet Boudreaux, Charles Boudreaux, Karen Boudreaux; 13 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Picard; an infant daughter, Thelma Jean Picard; her parents, Joseph and Angela Verret Savoie; one grandson, Ernest Joseph Romero Sr.; as well as one sister and four brothers. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert’s Mortuary from 11 a.m. until Mass time at 2 p.m., with the rosary being prayed at 1 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be her great grandsons. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin. ===================
