ANDERSON, CALVIN, JR.

Mr. Calvin Anderson Jr., 66, a resident and native of Franklin, died Tuesday, 
December 18, 2012, at 8:30 a.m., at his residence following a short illness.

He is survived by one daughter, Shawana Tabort of Franklin; one brother, 
Clarence Sophus of Centerville; eight sisters, Mildred Sophus of New Orleans, 
Lucy Williams and Diane Richardson of Jeanerette, Carrie Mae Carson, Elizabeth 
Harris, Delores Willis, Marie Sophus and Mary Alice Sophus of Franklin; and 
three grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

Visitations were observed Thursday, Dec. 27 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. 
Jules Catholic Church in Franklin.

Burial rites were read Thursday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with Father Thomas 
Vu officiating. 

Interment will follow in the St. John Cemetery in Franklin.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
