BAKER, WOODROW, SR.
Oct. 1, 1954 ~ Dec. 5, 2012

Woodrow Baker Sr., 58, a native and resident of Franklin, died Wednesday, 
December 5, 2012 at Franklin Foundation Hospital, at 9:51 p.m.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 15 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 10 
a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. 

Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

Woodrow leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Irma Baker of Franklin; two 
sons, Woodrow Baker Jr. of Verdunville and Ralph J. Williams Jr. of Norfolk, 
Virginia; three daughters, Angelique Baker of Dallas, Texas, Nikebianne’ 
Williams of Lafayette and Mia Alexander of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Willie 
Mae Lewis of Garden City; 13 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and 
friends.

Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon Baker Sr. and Agnes 
Hills; and a brother, Solomon Baker Jr.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City/ Franklin/ Jeanerette is in charge of 
arrangements.
