Lessie was born in Lake Charles on January 14, 1918. She was recently a resident/patient at the Patterson HealthCare Center Nursing Home. She was a gentle, caring woman, who was always concerned for the feelings of others, and never wished to be an imposition to anyone. Lessie was the devoted wife of John Gorsha, Jr. and now joins him in eternal peace. Lessie and John were married 64 years. John passed away 09/16/2003. Lessie was a loving mother of 4 children, and grandmother of 8: Roger A., and wife, Dianne, of Lakeway, Texas, and their children, Gethyn Way, and Gregory Gorsha; John R. Sr., and wife, Lydia, of Morgan City, and their children, John R. Gorsha, Jr., and Jada Aloisio; David P. (deceased); and Joy Jarvis, and husband, Robert, of Morgan City, and their children, Chelsea LeBlanc, Emily Aucoin, Ashly Fryou, and Christian Jarvis. She is survived by her sister, Elta Marie (Tut) Fuselier of Elton, Louisiana, 9 great-grandchildren; Aerial Gorsha, Rebecca Livermore, Molly Way, McKenna Aloisio, Cheyenne LeBlanc, Cameron Aucoin, Lessie Joy Aucoin, Royce Fryou, and Ava Aucoin, and 3 great-great grandchildren; Gavyn Jon Gorsha, Paetyn Ashley Price, and Ryder David Price. Lessie was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Dora Johnson, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 granddaughter, and her husband, John Gorsha, Jr., and youngest son, David P. Gorsha. Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 6 – 9 pm, and Wednesday, December 12, 9 – 1 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm. Pallbearers will be her grandson, John R. Gorsha, Jr., and Randal Fryou, Jason LeBlanc, Michael Aucoin, Dicky Price, and Jacob Clements. Nephew, Anthony Mula, will give the eulogy. ===================
