GUIDRY, GERALD JOSEPH, JR.
October 2, 1960 - December 24, 2012)

Gerald "Nuggie" Guidry Jr., a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away at 
his residence on Monday, December 24, 2012.

Gerald was a loving Father, loyal Friend, and best big brother to his siblings. 
His love for his work, as a machinist, started in his teen years and lasted 
throughout his life. Nuggie enjoyed spending time with his friends, fishing, 
hunting, and shooting pool. His outstanding kindness, immeasurable generosity, 
and amazing humor will be missed by all who loved him.

Nuggie is survived by his daughter, Jaclyn Guidry Hayes and husband, Randy of 
DeRidder; two sons: Jeramy Guidry and wife, Annie of New Iberia and Gerald 
Guidry III of Lafayette; his mother, Rosalie Guidry of Morgan City, three 
sisters: Darlene Picou and husband, Charles of Lafayette, Bonnie Guidry of 
Virginia and Lesley Dunagin and husband, Kenneth of Morgan City along with 5 
grandchildren.

Nuggie was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Guidry Sr. and two brothers: 
Glynn and Luke Guidry.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home 
beginning at 5pm until 9pm and resume on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the 
funeral home starting at 8am until time of service at 11am. 

He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
