HILL, RYE MICHAEL 
Jan. 6, 2012 ~ Dec. 11, 2012

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 
2012 at the St. Jules Catholic Church for Rye Michael Hill, 11 months old, who 
passed away at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at Franklin Foundation 
Hospital.

Fr. Thomas Vu will celebrate the Mass. 

Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Lester Trent Hill of Verdunville and Laney Lynn 
Louviere of Franklin; maternal grandparents, Lin David and Laura Deslatte 
Louviere of Franklin; paternal grandmother, Virginia C. Hill of New Iberia; 
maternal great grandfather, Ronald “Pete” Louviere of Franklin; paternal great 
grandmothers, Geraldine Champagne of Nacogdoches, Texas and Linda Thomas 
Boudreaux of Centerville; paternal great grandfather, Don Nathan “Pete” 
Boudreaux and wife, Ree-Ree, of Verdunville; godmother, Mandi Louviere of 
Franklin, godfather, Cordell Boudreaux of Verdunville; aunts, Lacie H. Corman 
and husband, Sam, of Nacogdoches, Texas and Misty Lynn Louviere of Franklin; 
uncles, Garland Dean Hill Jr. of New Orleans, Robert Box of Franklin and Ben 
Box of Centerville; and numerous other family members and friends who loved and 
adored him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Garland D. Hill Sr.; 
paternal great grandfathers, Lester Garland Hill and Elby L. Champagne; 
maternal great grandparents, Warren James and Mary “Shorty” Naquin Deslatte and 
Ann Guillotte Louviere; paternal great great grandparents, Lester and Ludie 
Hill, Ernest and Vera Thomas and Elby and Roseamay Champagne; great aunt, 
Angelle Louviere Moore; cousins, Brian Keith Walker Jr. and David Luke 
Champagne.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ibert’s Mortuary on Friday, 
December 14, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., with the Rosary being prayed 
at 12:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Lester Trent Hill, Lin David Louviere, Cordell Boudreaux 
and Garland Dean Hill Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin.
