"BILLY" (February 2, 1942 - December 17, 2012) James L. "Billy" Lodrigue, 70, a lifelong resident of Berwick passed away, Monday, December 17, 2012 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Billy was born on February 2, 1942 in Berwick the son of Emily and Lorenza Ribardi Lodrigue. Billy had a passion for raising many different kinds of birds. He loved to be in the outdoors whether he was hunting, fishing, or taking care of his birds. He enjoyed cooking and also loved spending time with his family. Billy was a true one of a kind and would give his heart to anyone who needed love. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three children, Tina Lodrigue of Berwick, Kenneth Lodrigue and wife Wendy of Patterson, Billie Jo Falgout and husband Donald of Stephensville; six step-children, Robert Nixon of Lake Charles, Carmen Granier of Patterson, Michelle Nixon of Pierre Part, Shannon Nixon of Berwick, Chinchetta Toups of Berwick, Dominic Guzzetta of Lake Charles. Billy is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen step- grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; two brothers; five sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Emily Lodrigue and Lorenza Ribardi Lodrigue; wife Elaine Lodrigue; three sisters; two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Billy will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad. ===================
