LOUVIERE, ROY J., SR.
Nov. 12, 1941 ~ Dec. 25, 2012

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Ibert’s 
Mortuary in Franklin for Mr. Roy J. Louviere Sr., 71, a native of Louisa and a 
longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at 
5:22 p.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. 
Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services.

Mr. Louviere is survived by his mother, Mabel Boudreaux Louviere of Franklin; 
one son, Roy J. Louviere Jr. of Bayou Vista; two grandsons, Arik and Bailey 
Louviere of Morgan City; one brother, Gilbert Louviere of Franklin; two 
sisters, Audrey L. Charpentier and her husband, Frank, of Franklin, and Dian L. 
Leblanc of Jeanerette; his former wife, Francis P. Gautreaux of Jackson, 
Mississippi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Louviere Sr.; one brother 
Lawrence Louviere Jr.; one sister-in-law, Annabelle Louviere; and one brother-
in-law, Leroy Leblanc.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert’s Mortuary from 
11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m., with the rosary being prayed at 1:30 
p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin.
