BRADFORD, WILLIAM ‘BRAD’, JR.

William “Brad” Bradford Jr., 86, a native and a resident of Morgan City, died 
Friday, December 28, 2012, at 11:07 p.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Brad served in the United States Army Air Force as Sergeant, Treasurer for Mt. 
Zion Baptist Church, president of the NAACP, member on the Charter Board of 
Directors for Community Action Agency, Inc., board member of the Morgan City 
Housing Authority, chairman of Siracusa Community Board, Assist, WSW Volunteer 
Fire Department.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 3 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, from 9 a.m. 
until 12 p.m. Funeral service will be at the Siracusaville Recreation Center at 
1 p.m. 

Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery. 
The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will perform at graveside.

Brad leaves to cherish his memories his wife, of 65 years, Audrey Johnson 
Bradford of Morgan City; his eight children, Ricky Bradford and Kerry Bradford, 
both of Dallas, Texas, Ken Bradford of Berwick, Corey Bradford of Seattle, 
Washington, Billy Bradford of Gray, La., Shawn Bradford of Fort Smith, 
Arkansas, Neva Green of Morgan City and Dionne Sanders of San Antonio, Texas; 
one sister, Shirley Penn of Morgan City; and a brother, Edward Thomas of 
Dallas, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of 
relatives and friends.

Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City/ Franklin/ Jeanerette is in charge of 
arrangements.
