Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1301.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Yolande Elise Eleazar Breaux, 87, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Berwick passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her home. Yolande is survived by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Breaux Todd and her husband, Matthew Richard Todd; one son, Arthur J. Breaux III and his wife, Suzette LaFlamme; four grandchildren, Matthew R. Todd II, Amanda Elise Romero and her husband, John Romero, Carole Yolande Breaux Shoop, and Reneé Michelle Breaux; three great grandchildren, Collin and Ethan Todd, and Thornton Jones. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth 'Kite' Joseph Breaux; her parents, Leon and Elodie Eleazar; and numerous brothers and sisters. Yolande was a well-educated woman, having achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Arts from USL, where she also graduated with honors. While attending USL, she was a member of Phi Gamma Mu. In her younger days, Yolande served as a Catholic Nun for Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Marrero, LA. Later, she became an educator, spending her days teaching 2nd graders for over 42 years. She was very active in St. Mary Parish Government, having helped incorporate Country Club Estates in Berwick, LA. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family requests that visitation be observed Tuesday, January 15th from 6pm to 9pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City with a rosary being prayed at 7pm. Visitation will resume Wednesday, January 16th at 9am until time of services at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City, La. A Mass of Christian burial will take place January 16th at 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Jay Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
