Elnora Marie Rivet Cline was born on April 26, 1931. A native and resident of 
Morganza, she died at 8:40 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, in the comfort of her 
home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Elnora was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, 
sister, aunt and friend. She loved spending time with her family and being on the go.

Visitation was held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 182 Church St., Morganza, 
today, Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian 
Burial at 11 a.m., Father Keun-Sou Lee, celebrant.

She was laid to rest at St. Ann’s church mausoleum.

Elnora will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, 
William H. Cline Jr.; her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Chick Deaton of 
New Road; and her two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Sheryl Cline, and 
Bobby and Tammy Cline, both of Morgan City.

She is survived by her six grandchildren and their spouses, Christy and Aaron 
Vince, Angele and Chris LaCroix, Corey and Tessa Deaton, Jason and Nicole 
Cline, Ashlyn Cline and her boyfriend, Brett Guidry, and Ethan Cline; her six 
great-grandchildren, Taylor Vince, Maecie Vince, Drew LaCroix, Mason Deaton, 
Ashton Morales, and Cohen Cline; and her sister, Jeanette Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alvinia Rivet; her 
brother, Bernie Rivet; and her sister, Verda Purpera.

Pallbearers will be Corey Deaton, Jason Cline, Ethan Cline, Aaron Vince, Chris 
LaCroix and Brett Guidry.
Honorary pallbearers will be her godsons, Dale Purpera and Kelly Rivet.

The family would like to send a special thanks to her caregivers, Glender Long, 
Elaine Long, Doris Holmes and Pointe Coupee Hospice.
