"Boy" Falterman, 95, a native and longtime resident of Franklin and resident of Lafayette, who passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at his niece's home in Lafayette. Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery Mausoleum in Franklin. Fr. Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. Mr. Nathan was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the European Theatre during World War II. He retired from Sterling Sugars, after many years of dedicated service. Survivors include his nieces, Mary Anne Rochel of Lafayette and Beth Cushman of Waterford, Michigan; nephews, Joe Schaviak and wife Betty of Fairborn, Ohio and Paul Bodin and wife Jill of Franklin; Great nieces , Skye and Pierce Bodin, Rochel Winn and husband John, Great nephew, David Blake Cormier and wife Cesily; great-great nieces, Payslee and Patin and great-great nephew, Randall. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Julianne Barrilleaux Falterman; one brother, Minus Falterman; three sisters, Anna F. Schaviak, Cecile F. Bodin and Ellie F. Rochel and one niece, Susan Rochel Cormier. The family would like to give special thanks to his sitters Donna, Cookie and Norma for all of their excellent care of their beloved uncle. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 12:00 PM.
