Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1301.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Azalee Dupree Nope, 91, a resident of Cleveland went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday night, January 2nd, 2013 from a local health care facility. Azalee was born March 27, 1921 in Morgan City, LA a daughter of the late Elec & Katherine Dupree. She married John R. Nope Sr. on March 17, 1941. Azalee was a member of the Morgan City Church of God of Prophecy. She loved her family, children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful caregiver to her mother, sister and brother. Azalee was also known for her awesome cooking and cake baking. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Azalee leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children Carol Witcher and her husband Ronald, John R. Nope Jr. and his wife Lillian and Reverend Kenneth Nope and wife Jo Ann, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, two sisters Bethel Ray and Iona Schmerber and numerous other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 from 5pm until 8pm at Twin City Funeral Home and resuming at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 beginning at 8am until 10:30am with a service at the Church of God of Prophecy on Second St. at 11am. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service. ===================
