Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1301.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Lucille Boudreaux Pellerin, age 94, at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin with Fr. Thomas Vu officiating. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Verdunville. A native and resident of Verdunville, Mrs. Pellerin, born on January 18, 1919 passed away at 3:05am on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Consolata Nursing Home in New Iberia. After many years of service, Mrs. Pellerin retired from the Headstart Program. In 2003, she was presented with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Service Award by Bishop Michael Jarrel. She is survived by her five sons, Dennis Fleming, Sr. and wife Gertrude, Althamus Pellerin, Jr. and wife Gladys, Cosmas Pellerin and wife Sandra, all of Verdunville, Arnold Pellerin and wife Fannie of New Iberia and Terry Pellerin, Sr. and wife Lelia of Lafayette; two daughters, Faye P. Broussard and husband Lawrence of New Iberia, Nancy P. Autin and husband Joseph of Lafayette; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Althamus Pellerin, Sr.; three sons, Marvin, Frederick and Jack Pellerin; one daughter, Margaret Fleming; eight grand children and one brother, Claude Boudreaux. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Ibert's Mortuary from 12:30 pm until time of service, with the rosary being prayed at 1:30 pm. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Heart of Hospice and Consolata Home for the care and compassion given to Mrs. Lucille. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart of Hospice, 201 West Vermilion Street, Suite 100, Lafayette, LA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, Franklin, LA. ===================
