Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1301.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 11, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin for Ms. Esther Miguez Buteaux Richard, 90, a native of Baldwin and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the Franklin Health Care Center. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Fr. Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. Ms. Esther was a devout member of the Church of the Assumption and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Survivors include one daughter, Marion B. Talbot of Baldwin; one son, Paul D. Buteaux, Jr. and his wife Mary Lynn of Franklin; 11 grandchildren, Clint Talbot, Dawn Flores, Carolyn Moneymaker, Lance Talbot, Roxane Theriot, Cherish Menard, Marshall Robicheaux, Jr., Bradley Robicheaux, Neil Robicheaux, Bridgette Spires, Paul "Trey" Buteaux, III; 31 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Buteaux, Sr.; her daughter, Dorothy M. Robicheaux; two grandchildren, Reginald Robicheaux and Joseph Robicheaux; three brothers, Henry, Robert, and Herman Miguez; and three sisters, Rita Hood, Lorena Buteaux, and Eula Mae Harrison. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at the Church of the Assumption from 9:30 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul "Trey" Buteaux, III, Alex Fontenot, Nick Fontenot, Marty Robicheaux, Kevin Theriot, and Bobby Moneymaker.
