Ibert served in the Louisiana National Guard for several years. He then was involved with several different businesses in the Morgan City area; namely, L & L Construction Company and a Dodge dealership, and he was best known as owner of the Sinclair Station that was operated in Wyandotte until he retired. Ibert loved to travel and be with his family and friends. Ibert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rose Marie Robichaux; his daughter, Diane Fears and her husband, Glynn Fears of Morgan City. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Alicia Corrales and her husband, Greg, of Lafayette; and Ashley Fears of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his parents Ibert and Florence Robichaux, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Russell and Dorothy Lewis. Visitation will take place Tuesday, January 22, 2013, from 9 a.m. until time of services with a Mass of Christian burial being held at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City. Interment will follow in the Morgan City Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Glynn Fears, George Fears, Greg Corrales, Michael Tamporello and Nicholas Tamporello. The family would like to thank his loving caregivers, Leona Crappell and Bursie Landry, for the love and devotion shown to Ibert and his family during his illness. In addition, the family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Francis Metz III, Morgan City Healthcare Center, and Southern Care Hospice of Thibodaux for the wonderful care that was given to Ibert during this time. ===================
