ADAMS, SHIRLEY PROUSE 
(February 23, 1936 - February 27, 2013)

Shirley Prouse Adams, 77, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Wednesday, 
February 27, 2013 at her home.

Shirley was born on February 23, 1936 in Orange, Texas the daughter of Paul and 
Enola Blanchard Prouse.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Norris Adams of 
Bayou Vista, two sons, Craig Adams of Stephensville and Ronald Adams and his 
wife Susie of Berwick; one grandson, Travis Adams of Berwick; one 
granddaughter, Evyn Adams of Berwick; two brothers, Dennis Prouse of Vidor, 
Texas and Charles Prouse of Bridge City, Texas; one sister, Wanda Prouse Pike 
of Newton, Texas.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Paul Prouse and Enola Blanchard 
Prouse; one granddaughter, Britni Adams; one brother, Nicholas Prouse.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Twin City 
Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on 
Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary being 
prayed at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the 
service on Friday at the funeral home. 

Shirley will be entombed in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum following 
services.
