Theresa Aucoin Blanchard, 83, a resident of Belle River passed away Thursday, 
February 14, 2013 at Teche Regional Medical Center.

Theresa was born on January 3, 1930 in Belle River the daughter of Maxime and 
Noretta Percle Aucoin.

Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family but especially loved spending 
time with her grandchildren. She was always there for her family when they 
needed her.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five daughters, Katherine 
Landry and husband Damon of Stephensville, Dianne Rivere and husband Jessie of 
Bruly St. Vincent, Sandra Barrilleaux and husband Lance of Morgan City, Althea 
Blanchard and Roger Aucoin of Four Mile Bayou, Rachel Guillot and husband Jody 
of Belle River; one foster child, Vickie Charlet of Belle River; three 
brothers, Gilbert Aucoin and wife Pat, Wilbert Aucoin and wife Brenda, Lenwood 
Aucoin and wife Cindy all of Belle River; one sister, Joyce Marceaux of Belle 
River. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-
grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Maxime Aucoin and Noretta Percle 
Aucoin; husband Eugene Blanchard; one son, Anthony Blanchard; one daughter, 
Wendy B. Gautreaux.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 
Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until the time 
of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. 

Theresa will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Belle River.
