Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1302.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 8:00 PM at Ibert's Mortuary for Jimmy David Boudreaux, Sr., 83, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin, who passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 8:58 PM at Franklin Foundation Hospital. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Father Gregory Cormier will conduct the service. Jimmy was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the United States Army, having enlisted three times and served during the Korean War. Following his serving in the military, Jimmy worked in the oil industry as a roughneck. Later in life he worked at Clemtronics Game Room for his sister, Luna, where he enjoyed being around the kids. Survivors include his son, Jimmy David "Davy" Boudreaux, Jr. and his wife Missy of Franklin; granddaughter, Jadie Nicole Trinh Boudreaux of Franklin; grandson, Brent Meyers of Charenton; two brothers, Howard "Buddy" Boudreaux of Baldwin and Francis Boudreaux of Baton Rouge; one sister, Luna B. Clements of Franklin; a special step-son, Tommy and his wife Aleta Meyers of Charenton; as well as numerous step-children, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Narcisse Boudreaux and Lorenza Laine Boudreaux; two brothers, Lannace and Dallas Boudreaux; four sisters, Inez B. Aycock, Jeanne B. Rivette, Irene B. Boudreaux, and Dolores B. Billiot; his former wife, Hazel Townley Meyers Boudreaux; step-son, Donnie Meyers; and a step-daughter, Mary Louise Meyers Bruce. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM until time of service at 8:00 PM.
