Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1302.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Calvary Bible Church in Centerville for Mr. Amos William Curry, 94, a native of Bayou Chene and longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Franklin Health Care Center. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Rev. Clyde Crappell will officiate the services. Mr. Amos was a member of the Franklin Lodge #57, F&AM, formerly served as a board member of the Calvary Bible Church in Centerville, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired from Atlantic Richfield Oil & Gas Co. in 1982 after over thirty years of dedicated service. Survivors include his two children, Lana C. Turner and her husband Ken of Smyrna, GA, and Ronald W. Curry and his wife Lydia of Franklin; four brothers, E. J. Curry and his wife Lettie, Murphy Curry, Alden Curry, and Aubrey (Blackie) Curry and his wife Virgie, all of Franklin; three sisters, Corrine Curry of Franklin, Freida Larson and her husband Eldridge of New Iberia, and Vivian Adams and her husband Bill of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Shane Curry, Michelle C. Domingue, and Brooke T. Apodaca; six great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Theriot Curry; his parents, Edwin W. Curry and Julia Allen Curry; three brothers, Evan Curry, Floyd Curry, and Jack Curry; three sisters, Goldie Snellgrove, Florence Allen, and Alvenia Carline. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Calvary Bible Church from 11:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM.
