Eula Mae Gast a long time resident of Morgan City born in Berwick July 30, 1927 
to the late Charles and Annette Besse. Eula passed away February 14, 2013 in 
Morgan City at the age of 85.

Eula is survived by her daughter Rita Mae Nelson and her husband Henry of 
Denham Springs; her sisters Mabel Lester of Morgan City, and Marie Toups of 
Athen; and her brother Henry "Gay" Besse of Morgan City. Eula is also survived 
by her three grandchildren Amber Hendrick and her husband Adam, Nicholas 
Nelson, and Stephanie Mouhot and her husband Mathieu; and two great-
grandchildren Thomas Mouhot, and Hannah Hendrick.

Eula is preceded in death by her husband Thomas; her parents Charles and 
Annette Besse; two sisters Frances Norman, and Elizabeth Besse; three brothers 
Marvin, Alex, and, Charles Jr. Besse.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Hargrave Funeral Home 
beginning at 9 am Saturday. Funeral services will be at 1 pm in the Hargrave 
Funeral Chapel. 

Eula will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
