Mrs. Alma L. Jacko, 83, a resident of Franklin and native of Charenton, died Sunday, February 10, 2013, at 3:50 a.m., at Regional Medical Center in Lafayette following a long illness. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth W. Jacko of Baldwin and Willie Jacko of Franklin; one daughter, Doris Jacko Polite of Baldwin; two brothers, Lionel Joshua and Anthony Joshua, both of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Irma Westley of New Orleans, Gladys Perro of Charenton and Myrtle Randle of Houston; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Jacko was preceded in death by her husband. Visitations will be observed Saturday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Charenton. Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 12 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. Paul Godfrey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations. ===================
