Moss, 70, a native of Edna, Texas and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 4:18 AM at the Patterson Health Care Center. Interment will be held in the Richardson Cemetery in Sorrento. Rev. Paul Vandercook will officiate the services. James was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served with the rank of Sergeant during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Blanche Tabor Peltier Moss; three sons, Billy Moss and his wife Renee', Bobby Moss and his wife Dusty, and Robby Moss and his wife Nicole; his mother, Velma Frenzel Moss; one sister, Betty Moss Greene and her husband Chip; two brothers, Jerry Moss and his wife Jamie, and Walton Moss and his wife Lisa; six grandchildren, Caleb, Shawn, Cade, Chloe, Kameryn, and Carson; three step-children; seven step-grandchildren; two nephews; and five nieces. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary "Lou Ann" Simon Moss; an infant son, James Arthur Moss; and his father, Walton Burdett Moss. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday at the First Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Moss, Bobby Moss, Robby Moss, Jeremy Greene, Chip Greene, Jerry Moss, Walton Moss, and Shawn Moss.
