Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1303.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Hattie "Sis" Maraist Bourque, 77, a native of St. Martinville, LA and a resident of Morgan City, LA passed away, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Teche Regional Medical Center while surrounded by her family. Sis is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Phillip J. Bourque of Morgan City; two daughters, Annette Martien and her husband, Eddie, of Lafayette, and Mary Beth Mosbacker and her husband, Matthew, of San Antonio, TX.; three grandchildren, Sydney Lauren Martien, Evan Mosbacker, and Blair Mosbacker; her uncle, Al Belaire and her nephew, Chip Durand. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Hattie Belaire Maraist; and a sister, Sydnie Mae Durand. Sis retired from the St. Mary Parish School Board after 33 years of teaching Elementary School and Special Education. She was a member of the Morgan City Garden Club for many years. An avid reader, Sis also enjoyed sewing clothing for her two daughters. A time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Monday, March 25th from 6pm – 9pm at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City, LA. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, March 26th at 6pm to 9pm with a rosary being prayed at 7pm and Wednesday, March 27th 9am until time of dismissal at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville,LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 27th at 12noon at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville. Sis will be laid to rest in St. Michaels Cemetery. ===================
