She trained her children and grandchildren in the importance of attending and participating in church regularly. Her faith in God defined her life. Momma was a "June Cleaver." Mom always was there when her children got home from school and everyday there was a hot meal lovingly prepared. She enjoyed bottle hunting, visiting cemeteries, courthouses and researching genealogy before Ancestery.com was even thought of. The family would like to thank all the staff at Maison Jardin for the loving care they provided during Maye's last days with us. They provided the assistance she needed while retaining her dignity and a great appreciation goes to the staff of Hospice of South Louisiana. Maye is survived by her son Harlan Mount Guillot Jr. and his wife Barbara Fisher Guillot; her daughter Nadine Guillot Clark and her husband William "Tommy" Clark Jr.; her husband Reginald E Guillot; one sister Joyce Thibodeaux Cockerham; her grandchildren Benjamin T. Clark and his wife Christy, Harlan Nicholas Guillot and his wife Brenda, Emily Clark Berry and her husband Jason, Dawn Neill, Ronnie Foret and his wife Danielle, and Denise and her husband Mare Barbe. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Samuel T. Clark, Ivy, June, Liberty and Daisy Guillot, Keller, Lillian and Whitley Berry, Cade and Caylee Neill, Brianna and Gracie Foret , Kourtnee and Tyler Matherne. Maye is preceded in death by both sets of parents; her first husband Harlan Mount Guillot Sr.; brothers Ernest Pierre Molaison, Waddell Thibodaux Sr. and LJ Thibodaux; and her sister Beatrice Stevens. A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Friday, March 22, 2013 from 6- 9 pm at Hargrave Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 9 am. A celebration of Maye's life will begin at 11 am in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel. Maye will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum, alongside her first husband. ===================
