Herman Hines, age 56, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Patterson, La., died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at 11:45 AM at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Herman leaves to cherish his memories; his caregiver, Carolyn Edwards of Patterson, La; a sister, Loretta Pierre of Baton Rouge, La; two stepsisters, Esther May Sells and Elaine Hines both of New Orleans, La; and a host of relatives and friends.

Herman was preceded in death by his parents; James Hines and Mary Pierre Hines.
