Wegie Turner a native of Haynesville and a longtime resident of Bayou Vista, 
passed away March 11, 2013 in Broussard at the age of 84.

Wegie is survived by her daughter Carolyn Jones, her sons Michael Turner, James 
Turner, Craig Turner. One sister Bea Ledbetter eleven grandchildren and Fifteen 
great grandchildren.

Wegie was preceded in death by her husband James William Turner.

Wegie was an employee of Paul's Insurance Agency over 25 years. She was a 
member of First Baptists Church of Bayou Vista Wegie was a member of the choir, 
taught Sunday school and training union class.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 13 , 2013 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 9 am 
until 11 am with services at 11 am. 

Wegie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
