Albert Barabin, age 73, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma 
died Saturday, April 6, 2013.

Visitation will be Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma from 5-7:00 p.m., and 
from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. Funeral service will be 
Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Baptist Church in Montegut. 

Burial will follow in Bisland Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife; Clara Castle-Barabin; fourteen sons, Michael 
(Wanda) Barabin, Albert, Jr. (Bernita), Eric, Kevin, Chris, Lester (Brenda), 
Juan (Ellen), and Jerome (Nicole) Deville, Carl and Jasper Allridge, Kentrell, 
Brandon (Chermary), Terrance, Sr. (Darolyn), and Jonathan Castle; one daughter, 
Cynthia (Delane) Barabin; three brothers, Sherman (Charlotte), Charles 
(Alzena), and Donald Barabin; two sisters, Rosadell LaGarde and Helen Johnson; 
thirty-seven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

He is survived by one son, Chris Deville; his parents, Southern and Lucille 
Barabin; his grandparents, Henry and Millie Barabin; and two deceased 
grand-children.
