Barbara was born on May 20, 1935 in Patterson the daughter of George and Minerva Landry Fabre. Barbara was an avid reader who loved to travel and especially loved to go on cruises. She enjoyed fishing and watching her grandchildren play baseball. She was charter member and past queen of the Krewe of Galatea. She also volunteered her time at Teche Regional Medical Center by serving as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, Sam L. Carline of Stephensville, Mark M. Carline and wife Madel of Ethel, Louisiana, Byron J. Carline of Berwick; seven grandchildren, Estacia Huddleston, Joshua Carline and wife Hope of Denham Springs, Chloe` Carline and Mark Michael Carline II both of Lafayette, Elisabeth Carline of Ethel, Blaine Carline of Berwick, Brennan Carline and fiancé Brooke Kleles of Berwick; three great-grandchildren, Zachary Carline, Samantha Vaughn, and Calvin Carline all of Denham Springs; one sister, Melanie F. Pratka and husband Victor of Lake Jackson, Texas; one nephew David Pratka; one niece Georgette Cates. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents George Fabre and Minerva Landry Fabre; husband Ivan J. Carline; one niece Vanessa Pratka. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at St. Stephens Catholic Church with Monsignor J. Douglas Courville officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass on Thursday at St. Stephens. Entombment will follow mass in the Berwick Cemetery Mausoleum. ===================
