A World War II Veteran in the Army, Drew was also a retired Boat Captain, a job he dedicated his life to. Known for being a person who enjoyed the outdoors, from fishing to hunting, even gardening; Drew did it and enjoyed it all. A father who loved to cook, he'd make anything and everything; always making sure that his family joined him for those delicious meals. Andrew was a native and lifelong resident of Berwick and passed away, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at his home while surrounded by his family. Drew will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Drew is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Zella M. Gros Freeman of Berwick; two daughters, R. Linda Bryan of Berwick, and Mercedes Voisin and her husband, Ed, of Berwick; four grandsons, Charles Bryan Jr. and his wife, Shanna, Shane Voisin, and his wife, Calah, Jonathan Voisin and his fiancé, Amie, and Kevin Freeman; one step grandson, Anthony Bryan Sr.; two granddaughters, Amber Landry and her husband, David, and Amy Boudreaux and her husband, Mark; nine great grandchildren, Brendon, Drayvan, Noah, Reegan, and Kori Bryan, Ryleigh Landry, Nathan, Emma, and Jeffrey Voisin; and two step great grandchildren, Brittany Boudreaux, and Anthony Bryan Jr. He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Anthony Freeman; a son-in-law, Charles Bryan Sr.; his parents, George Calise and Celistine Fromenthal Freeman; four sisters, Hester Robicheaux Angeron, Helen Fremin, Elise Hebert, and Cora Lee Rogers; and one brother, Jarold Freeman. A time of remembrance will be held on Friday, April 5th from 10am until time of services at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 5th at 2pm at Hargrave Funeral Home with interment following in the Berwick Mausoleum where the East St. Mary Veteran Funeral Squad will preside over military honors. ===================
