Mary Ann Vaccarella April 26, 1929 April 7, 2013

Mary Ann Vaccarella, 83, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on 
Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Maison Jardin Senior Living Community in Morgan City.

Several years ago Mary suffered a stroke but never let it get the best of her. 
She overcame much of its effects with determination and faith in the Lord 
Jesus. She loved taking care of her cats and watching plenty of TV with them. 
Mary was a talented painter and could draw just about anything. Mary was 
tremendously loved and will be sorely missed.

Mary is survived by her sister, Carrie Bernucho and husband, Nolan of Morgan 
City; a faithful friend, Debbie Boswell; one godchild, Cathy Stoute of Morgan 
City; two sisters-n-law, Velma Vaccarella and Jane Vaccarella; along with a 
host of nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Josephine Vaccarella, 
three sisters: Rose Hepler, Frances Michel and Josephine Thomas along with 
three brothers: Maurice Vaccarella, Carlo Vaccarella and Sam Vaccarella.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church beginning at 8am until 10am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning 
after the visitation at 10am. 

Mary will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following mass.
