WESTLEY, ARTHUR J. 

Mr. Arthur J. Westley, 84, a resident and native of Franklin, died Wednesday, 
April 10, 2013, at 1:37 p.m., at Our lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in 
Lafayette, following a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Westley of Franklin; one son, Ryan Arthur 
Westley (his wife, Markita) of Verdunville; five daughters, Mrs. Sharen Tyler 
(her husband, Paul), and Ms. Rhonda Marie Westley, both of Franklin; Mrs. Debra 
Yarber (her husband, Charlie) of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Jacqueline Valteau of 
Fort Worth, Texas; and Mrs. Damita Riley (her husband, Quentin) of Patterson; 
one brother, Mr. Ernest “Pink” Blanks (his wife, Debra) of Franklin; one 
sister, Mrs. Annie King of Lake Charles; 15 grandchildren; 18 great 
grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Mr. Westley was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two 
sisters.

Visitations will be observed Tuesday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. 
Jules Catholic Church, 601 Magnolia St., Franklin.

Burial rites will be read Tuesday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with Father 
Thomas Vu officiating. 

Interment will follow in the St. Jules Cemetery on Ash St. in Franklin.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
