Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1305.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Bible Church in Centerville for Mrs. Ruth Mire Ashley, 90, a native of Sulphur and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 8:15 PM at the Franklin Foundation Hospital. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Rev. Clyde Crappell will officiate the services. Mrs. Ruth was a Nursing Assistant and worked at Franklin Foundation Hospital for nearly 40 years, mainly in the nursery, and was also a dedicated longtime member of Calvary Bible Church in Centerville. She will be remembered as a gentle, sweet woman with a deep faith and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Survivors include four grandchildren, Shannon Billiot, Bryan Billiot, Dylan Ashley and his wife Lacey, and Donelle Ashley; four great grandchildren, Devin Parvino, Daryan Parvino, Austin Williams, and Hayden Ashley; one brother, Jerry Mire; one sister, Joyce Percle and her husband Norman; and her longtime friend and caregiver, Brenda Perrett Boudreaux. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Ashley; their three children, Malcolm Ashley, Judy Billiot, and Troy Ashley; her parents, Theodore Frank Mire and Hattie Lange Mire; one brother, Curtis Mire; and one sister, Jane Chustz. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Calvary Bible Church in Centerville from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Serving as pallbearers will be Devin Parvino, Austin Williams, Enos Ashley, Garrison Theriot, Eddie Case, and David Burleigh.
