Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Calvary 
Bible Church in Centerville for Mrs. Ruth Mire Ashley, 90, a native of Sulphur 
and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, 
at 8:15 PM at the Franklin Foundation Hospital. 

Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. 
Rev. Clyde Crappell will officiate the services.

Mrs. Ruth was a Nursing Assistant and worked at Franklin Foundation Hospital 
for nearly 40 years, mainly in the nursery, and was also a dedicated longtime 
member of Calvary Bible Church in Centerville. She will be remembered as a 
gentle, sweet woman with a deep faith and will be sorely missed by all who knew 
her.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Shannon Billiot, Bryan Billiot, Dylan 
Ashley and his wife Lacey, and Donelle Ashley; four great grandchildren, Devin 
Parvino, Daryan Parvino, Austin Williams, and Hayden Ashley; one brother, Jerry 
Mire; one sister, Joyce Percle and her husband Norman; and her longtime friend 
and caregiver, Brenda Perrett Boudreaux.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Ashley; their three children, 
Malcolm Ashley, Judy Billiot, and Troy Ashley; her parents, Theodore Frank Mire 
and Hattie Lange Mire; one brother, Curtis Mire; and one sister, Jane Chustz.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday at Calvary Bible Church 
in Centerville from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Serving as pallbearers will be Devin Parvino, Austin Williams, Enos Ashley, 
Garrison Theriot, Eddie Case, and David Burleigh.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main Street, 
Franklin, LA
