Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1305.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10, 2013, at Ibert's Mortuary at 1:00 PM for Darryl James Clements, 52, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin, who passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 at his home in Franklin. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Pastor Den Hussey will officiate the services. Darryl was a fun loving person who had a nickname for everybody and loved to make people laugh. In his earlier years, Darryl worked as a commercial fisherman. His love for fishing continued throughout his all too brief life. Not being able to fish anymore, Darryl turned to his hobbies to keep him busy. His favorite was tinkering with computers and cell phones. More so than a hobby, he loved to study the bible and share it with whoever was willing to listen. Survivors include his mother, Luna Boudreaux Clements; four siblings, Karen C. Triviz and her husband Rick of New Iberia, Keith Clements and his wife Jennifer of Oaklawn, Janet C. Smith and her husband Jammie of Youngsville, and Cheryl C. Allen and her husband Todd of Youngsville; nieces and nephews, Keely Oleske and her husband Stephen, Garrick, Derek, and Brent Triviz, Urian Clements and his wife Jessi, Brittnay, Bronson, Kameron, and Kyler Clements, Sherry C. Guidry, Jerome and Jeremy Smith, Jacquelin McFarlin and her husband Dean, and Rachelle L. Dupre; as well as numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas Clements; one niece, Erika Lynn Smith; one nephew, Ronson Joshua Clements; as well as by his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles. Serving as pallbearers will be his brother, Keith Clements, his brothers-in- law, Rick Triviz, Jammie Smith, and Todd Allen, and nephews, Bronson Clements, Jeremy Smith, Kameron Clements, and Kyler Clements. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert's Mortuary from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM.
