Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2013/sm1305.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== BROWNSVILLE, Texas — Lilly Vining Fabre, 90, passed away peacefully at the Sunshine Haven Hospice, surrounded by her daughters Saturday, May 18, 2013. Lilly was born in Bayou Melon in Saint Martin Parish to Delta and Alden Vining Sr. She worked in the crab industry and in her early years of marriage, she would accompany her husband, Wilmot, with his work in the bayou. They moved to Brownsville in 1949. She enjoyed being with family and working on her hobbies sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Wilmot B. Fabre; a daughter, Patricia Ann Fabre; a son-in-law, Cecilio Yznaga; her parents; and her sister, Ruth Hebert. Lilly is survived by her three daughters, Alona (Lu) Fabre Davila of Los Fresnos, Texas, Janet Yznaga of Ft. Hood, Texas, and Gail (Dennis) Kuehler of Brownsville, Texas; four grandchildren, Ricci Yznaga of Killen, Texas, Julie Yznaga Karakulko of Houston, Dennis B. Kuehler of Lawton, Okla., and Wayne L. Kuehler of Harlingen, Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Devia Flores, Brittney Kuehler, Amanda Kuehler and Taylor Kuehler. Visitation will begin today, Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m., with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m., in the Chapel at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with entombment to follow in Buena Vista Burial Park Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricci Yznaga, Nick Karakulko, Dennis B. Kuehler, Wayne L. Kuehler, Lu Davilia and Dennis J. Kuehler. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Sunshine Haven Hospice, 7105 W. Lakeside, Olmito, Texas, 78575, in memory of Lilly Fabre.
