Patricia Marie Francis, 58, a resident of Morgan City passed away Thursday, May 
23, 2013 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Houma.

Patricia was born on October 4, 1954 in Morgan City the daughter of Alfred and 
Hattie Pittman Lancon.

Patricia had many joys in life as she enjoyed doing craft work, crocheting, 
doing puzzle books and going shopping. She loved her pets as well as playing on 
her I-Pad. Most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her 
brother David.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two brothers, Gerald Donald 
Lancon and wife Gayle of Bayou L'Ourse and David Lancon of Morgan City; two 
sisters, Gayle Landry and husband Yancey of Berwick, and Darlene Lester and 
husband Robert of Morgan City. She is also survived by three god children, 
Tracie Landry of Morgan City, R.J. Lester of California, Joel Mooney, Jr. and 
wife Jennifer of Patterson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Lancon and Hattie Pittman 
Lancon; husband, Wilbur Francis; three brothers, Mike Lancon, Alfred Lancon, 
Jr., Howard Lancon.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Jennifer Mooney for all of 
her help with Patricia.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Twin City 
Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Fromenthal officiating. Visitation will be held 
from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, May 27, 2013 at Twin City Funeral 
Home. Visitation will resume from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service on 
Tuesday at the funeral home. 

Patricia will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
