Denell Lynn Dupree Hartley, born May 25, 1949, passed away Sunday, May 26, 
2013, at her home in Chatham.

Denell was a long-time resident of Morgan City and Kaplan before she moved to 
north Louisiana.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry Hartley Sr.; one daughter, 
Susie Foret and husband, Blake, of Amelia.; two sons, Jerry Hartley Jr. and 
wife, Jo, of West Monroe, and Billy Hartley and wife, Hope, of Amelia; three 
grandchildren, Ashley Foret, Journey Hartley and Jaybian Hartley; one great-
grandchild, Madysen Foret; three brothers; a sister; and a host of nieces, 
nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Royde and Inez Dupree; two sisters; 
and two brothers.

A memorial service was held at Christian Life Church today, Tuesday May 28, 
2013, at 2 p.m. in Monroe.

She will be greatly missed and loved always.
