JOHNSON, KATISHA MONIQUE 

A home-going service will be held for Katisha Monique Johnson, 32, at 11 a.m., 
on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Triumph Baptist Church in Franklin, with the Rev. 
Carl F. Lewis officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at the church 
until time of funeral service.

A native and resident of Franklin, she passed at 2:01 p.m. Saturday, May 4 at 
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

She leaves to mourn her passing her mother, Gertrude Johnson of Franklin; one 
brother, Terrence Johnson of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Cintrell Johnson of St. 
Martinville; maternal grandparents, Gloria Johnson of Franklin, and Raphael 
Gene Wells Sr. of Charenton; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, 
nephew, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Lance Kevin Kinchen, David Carey Jr., Marcus Ned, 
Marion J. Hector, Lionel R. Johnson and Kenneth Lockett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stafford L. Johnson, Raphael Gene Wells Jr., 
Justin M. Scott, Larry Wells and John Layton.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fletcher Funeral Home, 609 West Admiral 
Doyle Drive in New Iberia
